We are HAPPY to announce that a new issue of HAPPY Newsletter is out!
In this issue you can read about the experience that European partners had in Bhutan. In the first article you can read about focus group discussion that Dr. Lorraine Nencel from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Dr. Erik de Maaker from Universiteit Leiden conducted with the faculty of the Sherubtse College. The main aim of their discussion was to capture their views on how the university prepares students for the future and what role qualitative research can play within this journey.
Meanwhile, Dr. Ellen Bal from Vrije Universiteit and Gregor Cerinšek from Institute of Innovation and Development of the University of Ljubljana had a similar discussion with the students of the Sherubtse College. They talked about their study interests, motivations, and future prospects.
You can also read about the three-day workshop that was held at the College of Language and Culture Studies. The main aim was to critically review the existing curricula on Qualitative Research in Bhutan.
